ANNOUNCEMENT

of the Mayor of Hajnówka concerning the recruitment of candidates for members of the Social Committee for the project “Green Spirit of Activity. Hajnówka – A New Era of Development” under the Polish-Swiss City Development Programme financed from the Second Edition of the Swiss Financial Assistance for selected Member States of the European Union

In connection with the commencement of the implementation of the project “Green Spirit of Activity. Hajnówka – A New Era of Development” under the Polish-Swiss City Development Programme

I ANNOUNCE an open recruitment of candidates for members of the Social Committee

Scope of activities of the Social Committee includes:

1. expressing opinions and presenting recommendations regarding the method of implementation of the activities planned in the Project,
2. ongoing familiarisation with the material and organisational progress of the Project in order to identify good practices and areas requiring support,
3. identification and analysis of potential implementation risks,
4. participation in the participatory activities of the Project, in particular by sharing knowledge and experience,
5. supporting information and promotional activities of the Project,
6. consulting and giving opinions on the principles of implementing activities, including the regulations for the implementation of grant activities of the Project, in order to ensure their transparency and effectiveness.

The Committee consists of up to 20 members, including:

1. 6 representatives indicated by the Mayor of the City,
2. 2 representatives indicated by the Starosta of Hajnówka,
3. 2 representatives of educational institutions, including representatives of primary schools and secondary schools nominated by school principals in response to an invitation from the Mayor of the City,
4. 2 representatives of economic partners (e.g. entrepreneurs, organisations and associations of entrepreneurs, business environment institutions),
5. 2 representatives of civil society, e.g. the non-governmental sector, including social economy entities and informal groups,
6. 6 residents of the city.

This recruitment concerns points 4–6. Participation in the Social Committee is unpaid and the work is of a voluntary nature. Members of the Committee may be residents of the City of Hajnówka as well as persons working for the benefit of the city and its residents.

Deadlines: The recruitment of candidates runs from 30 March 2026 to 22 April 2026 until 12:00.

• on the website of the Hajnówka City Hall (hajnowka.pl) in the Polish-Swiss City Development Programme tab,
• at the City Hall premises at ul. Aleksego Zina 1, secretariat room 219.

An application containing the candidate’s first and last name, contact details (i.e. telephone number and e-mail address), together with a short justification for the candidacy, should be submitted on the application form to the Hajnówka City Hall in paper or electronic form by 22 April 2026 until 12:00 (the date of receipt by the Office is decisive):

• in person at the secretariat of the Hajnówka City Hall, room 219,
• electronically in the form of a scan of the signed form in PDF format by e-mail to: hajnowka@hajnowka.pl,
• by post to the address: Urząd Miasta Hajnówka, ul. Aleksego Zina 1, 17-200 Hajnówka,
