Entrepreneurship Incubator – ideas, support, development
The “Entrepreneurship Incubator” is intended to help create a business-friendly ecosystem in Hajnówka – from the first idea, through starting a business, all the way to company growth. More entrepreneurial residents, stronger local companies, new jobs and an economy based on local potential – this is the direction in which we want to develop Hajnówka.
Support for entrepreneurs and start-ups
A programme supporting the development of entrepreneurship has been planned. It will include seminars, conferences, meetings, panels, debates and consultations involving entrepreneurs, local government, social organisations and residents.
An important element will also be grants for micro, small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) for:
- starting a business,
- developing an existing business,
- training,
- advisory and development services.
A place for work, cooperation and exchange of ideas
An accessible office space and meeting place will be created to foster cooperation between entrepreneurs, the exchange of experience and the establishment of new contacts. The premises will be renovated and equipped with the necessary furniture, IT equipment and software.
“Hajnówka sees business”
As part of the Local Entrepreneurship Observatory, research and analyses concerning the local economy will be conducted.
Among other things, the needs of entrepreneurs, companies’ demand for employees, directions of local business development, and the educational and career plans of young people will be examined. This knowledge will help better match municipal actions and support to the real needs of the local economy.
Local business – more widely
The planned International Exhibition of Local Products will be an opportunity to promote local entrepreneurs, products and services and to establish new business contacts.

The measure will also include entrepreneurial education, including business plan competitions and the creation of a database of ideas for local businesses. Thanks to this, good ideas from residents will be able to become the starting point for real ventures.
At the same time, local government employees will improve their competences in creating favourable conditions for cooperation between the city and business.
